Theater Arts - Campers 8-12 years old

Aims to engage campers in all aspects of putting on a show, including writing, character-building, costume and set design, and a final production.

Campers will explore traditional Chinese fables and stories and try a hand at traditional forms of performing arts including Chinese Opera and shadow puppets.  Campers will participate in games and activities that build performing art skills. Campers will produce a scrip, set and production to be performed on the last day of camp.

Unlike our basic camp that supports novice to advanced chinese language campers, our theatre camp is intended for experienced chinese language campers only. Students will use their language skills in all aspects of dramatic fun.
