We are Parents and Educators
As parents and educators that live and work in the Pioneer Valley, we understand the importance of having a quality program that supports, stimulates, and stretches the minds, bodies and spirits of the children in the area.

Understanding the Benefits of Learning Chinese
After watching our eldest child flurish in her Chinese immersion school, we knew we would have to extend her exposure to the Chinese language and culture while making this opportunity accessible for other children within the area. Because children her age are in their critical period for learning a new language, language acquistion will not only be easier now but, exposure to a second language will make it easier for her to pick up another language later on in life.

BENEFITS OF LEARNING CHINESE:

  • As a tonal and character based language, understanding Chinese has been linked to strong musical, math, and problem solving skills
  • The earlier a child is introduced to a second language, the greater the chances are that the child will become truly proficient in the language with limited or no accent
  • With more than 1.2 billion people speaking Chinese, it is the most spoken language after English
  • Mandarin Chinese is one of the six official languages of the United Nations
  • As one of the world's oldest civiliations, China has a rich history that is linked to civilizations all over the world

Our Dedicated Staff

It is our goal to invite only the most highly qualified counselors, teachers, and staff to join our team.

We believe that great camps are more than the activities they offer. Instead, a great camp has individuals who nurture each camper in creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Our carefully selected counselors attend a rigourous training program before camp begins. Each counselor team has at least one head counselor who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, with two experienced Chinese teachers for the structured Chinese lessons with older campers.

Our program includes

  • Teachers and Couselors who are fluent in Mandarin Chinese
  • A staff to camper ratio of 1 to 10
  • Certified lifeguards
  • Licensed Health staff....
  • First Aid and CPR certified counselors
